Technology Translation

We will facilitate the translation of knowledge and methods produced into other domains, through engagement with industry partners.  We aim to increase the impact of astronomical innovations while addressing key Australian national priorities such as developing a highly skilled STEM workforce. By leveraging established technology transfer and commercialisation programs at ANU, Macquarie, Swinburne, and UWA, we will provide the resources needed to effectively deliver programs across all topics. Five initial focus areas will be directly applied in alignment with Australian national research priorities:

2. Building a secure and resilient Australia

3. Use AI to support healthy and thriving communities

4. Protecting and restoring Australia’s environment

5. Hardware translation
